Frequently Ask Questions

  • When will you be able to start my project?
    • Jobs typically begin anywhere from 4-8 weeks from when the quote is electronically accepted in our system. Details being considered prior to electronic signature will delay the start time. However, our schedule fluctuates frequently and we do our best to accommodate people’s schedule.
  • How long will the job take once you start?
    • Carpentry Depending upon the task, carpentry takes 1-3 days on-site to complete. Some projects require in-shop work to be done first.
    • Countertops Can be typically templated within a week of choosing the stone. Installation is scheduled 7-10 business days from templating.
    • Cabinet painting On-site is 3 days. However, doors and drawer fronts are in our shop for one to two weeks.
    • Cabinet refacing A site visit is scheduled for us to come out and take measurements. The order is placed and takes approximately 3-4 weeks for the new components to come in and are then put into production.
  • What is the process for cabinet painting?
    • The first day we remove all the doors and drawer fronts and transport them to our shop where they will be in process for 1-2 weeks. During which time, we will schedule the cabinet bases/frame work to be painted. Cabinet bases take 1-2 days. When doors and drawer fronts are done, we will schedule reinstallation.
  • How long does it take to reinstall doors and drawer fronts?
    • Existing doors take 2-4 hours typically. New doors and drawer fronts can up to 2 days.
  • Will I be able to use my kitchen during the project?
    • You will have full use of your kitchen at the end of each work day
  • Do I need to purchase knobs or handles?
    • Yes. If you wish to purchase new hardware, we are happy to make recommendations. Please note that for existing cabinetry, the same configuration is required to avoid additional charges.
  • What is the order of things to be done? We recommend in order stated below to simplify the process:

    • Countertops
    • Cabinets
    • Interior painting
    • Backsplash
  • Do you offer financing?
    • Yes! We offer 0% financing up to 21 months. Other terms available.
  • What’s the best way to clean the cabinets?
