Our Story

Joe Hernandez and Kristen Ford-Hernandez met in 2005, when Kristen was searching for a company to do some repairs and painting in her home. It was Joe’s approach and his willingness to educate her rather than “sell a job” that made him an easy choice.

“I had no idea at the time that I had just hired my future husband,” said Kristen.

After 6 months together, Joe approached her with the idea of forming a business together. “It was exciting to think I could take my skills and develop a business that we created together. In any sales position I held, it has always been important to me that I believe in the service and/or product. It was an easy choice to promote and market Joe’s skills and integrity.”

Joe’s vision for creating a business has always been to lead with an educational approach so homeowners can make an informed decision. As a woodworker, Joe’s attention to detail and passion for the trade is what has continued to establish Premiere Pros as one of the leader’s in the industry. “I have always felt that if you love what you do, then it’s not a job. And when you do, it shows in the work.”
